R.F. Langley (1938–2011) has been described as ‘one of the secret treasures of modern poetry’. The poetry magazine PN Review was one of Langley’s earliest champions, publishing both his verse and the extraordinary prose of his journals. Noirwich Crime Writing Festival celebrated the sharpest noir and crime writing over four days of author events, writing masterclasses and a very bloody brunch, in Norwich, UNESCO City of Literature.
